Arrivals without guesswork

The first Vortal for Marinas that sets the standard B2B2C communication between harbour and skipper — before and during docking.
90% of docking stress comes from two missing pieces: maneuvering space and berth obstacles.
HarbourMate delivers them before arrival. Browser link. No app.

Smart marina digital twin - superyacht maneuvering brief with berth width 17.5m and turning space 280x180m
✓ FIELD-TESTED 2024

Critical intel delivered BEFORE arrival: berth width (17.5m), maneuvering space (280×180m), speed limits, and approach path — so skippers can plan the perfect maneuver from the safety of open water.

The Harbour–Skipper Standard

The first Vortal for marinas worldwide.
Like hospitality adopted a shared language via booking platforms, marinas need a common, repeatable pre-arrival & last-mile standard. HarbourMate defines it.

The Problem Every Skipper Faces

Currently, 100% of skippers receive berth-specific information only when they're already in front of the assigned berth — too late to plan the maneuver or brief the crew. The two critical unknowns — maneuvering space and depth/berth profile — remain invisible until the last second, causing 90% of arrival stress.

1) Common Data Model

Berth ID, usable widths, depth at berth, maneuvering polygons, POIs and notes — codified once for staff and guests.

Link-based Workflow

Staff selects a berth → unique secure link → skipper opens in browser.

3) API-ready Handshake

Starts manual, scales with REST APIs so PMS/booking triggers the briefing automatically — no migrations required.

💡 CONCEPT

HarbourMate integrates with your PMS via API — keeping booking, invoicing, and inventory intact. We add the missing layer: pre-arrival briefs, GPS navigation, wayfinding, and territory discovery. Operations stay efficient; guest experience becomes exceptional.

Tourism Experience Hub PLUS

Smart marina tourism hub - interactive digital twin map with restaurants, museums and partner POI
✓ FIELD-TESTED

Beyond docking: extend the interactive map to the surrounding territory with curated routes and experiential POIs. Transform your marina from a parking lot into a destination gateway that drives local tourism and partner revenue.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about HarbourMate

A pre-arrival view specific to the assigned berth, showing measurements, maneuvering spaces, nearby obstacles, the route to follow to reach the berth, and notes on the mooring setup. It helps the skipper plan the approach and prepare the crew for the docking maneuver before entering the port.
No. HarbourMate is a Digital Experience Platform (DXP), not a Property Management System. It sits alongside your existing software to enhance port-to-skipper communication before arrival and perfectly clarifies last-mile orientation — two areas where traditional PMS tools do not provide adequate practical solutions. Think of it as the "guest app" your PMS never had.
Local depth is displayed among the values related to each berth, as established by the Dockmaster. At the Marina's discretion and where necessary, the berth profile includes a simplified diagram of the quay configuration, highlighting any submerged obstacles. Additionally, it's possible to inform the skipper about the mooring type (e.g., stern-to with lazy lines), the mooring fixtures available (bollards/cleats), and the mooring system (finger pier, permanent mooring, buoy, etc.).
No. Everything runs in the user's device browser. Guests open a secure link and get directions along with critical pre-arrival details for the assigned berth, substantially improving the perception of the Marina's welcome quality.
Yes. Start with manual workflows (generate and share links through the WEB Dashboard). Upon request, APIs are available so that berth assignment in your booking management system automatically triggers the provision of the Link to send to the customer with the Maneuvering Brief.

"Finally, a tool that speaks the language skippers actually need. Our VHF traffic from new arrivals dropped 20% in the first month."
